Zakon o upravljanju otpadom (Sl. glasnik RS, br. 109/2025) propisuje da se količina građevinskog otpada koji se odlaga na deponije mora smanjiti za najmanje 30% do 2028. godine u odnosu na nivo iz 2020. Član 42 predviđa progresivne kazne do 200% osnovne naknade za prekoračenje dozvoljenih količina.
